REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR HALL COUNTY PUBLIC TRANSIT PROVIDER

Sealed proposals will be received by the County Clerk’s Office 200 South Sycamore STE #4, Grand Island, Nebraska 68801 until 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, for the Public Transit provider. The bids will be publicly opened on August 25, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. by the Hall County Board of Commissioners.

The award-winning proposal will be required to comply with the County’s insurance requirements.

Proposals will be evaluated based upon potential compatibility with requirements as specified in the Request for Proposals, Proposer’s experience in providing specified public transit service (preferably to small community transit programs), total purchase of services agreement price, and quality and completeness of the proposer’s response to the Request for Proposals. Proposal shall remain firm for a period of ninety (90) days after the submittal due date. Hall County reserves the right to refuse any or all proposals, to waive technicalities, and to accept whichever proposal (s) that may be in the best interest of the County at its sole discretion.
