We contract with the Hall County Public Works Department to spray weeds in the rights-of-way of all Hall County roads.

 

We have a John Deere Gator to take care of this type of spraying. It is equipped with a 100-gallon spray system.

 

There are different chemical options to control various types of brush species.

 

Another term for this is "ground sterilant". This is where businesses do not want any vegetation growing for the entire season.

 

We are able to identify almost any type of weed. If we are not able to come up with the correct identification, we can send it off to the University of Nebraska for further help.

 

Here at Hall County Weed Control we have two gopher getter machines that put down bait for pocket gophers and 13 types of striped ground squirrels in alfalfa fields, corn & soybean fields, hay meadows and pastures. We also carry live traps to relocate some animals that are causing problems.
