Board of Commissioners


Hall County is governed by an elected board of 7 members in the Commissioners model of Nebraska county government. In Nebraska, 67 out of 93 counties use the Commissioners method.

The seven members of the Board of Commissioners, elected by their respective districts, serve as the legislative and executive of Hall County government.

The Board enacts legislation governing Hall County and determines overall policies for County departments, adopts the annual budget, establishes plans for the operation of County government, enforces various State statutes and enacts local legislation to serve and protect County residents.
