Plat maps, traditionally available for purchase through County Clerks' Offices, are printed ownership (Plat) and occupancy (TAM) booklets published by external sources. The booklets are not official government documents but they serve as a third-party directory of the County and prior years' editions prove useful as another source of information for those conducting genealogical research.

Hall County has received permission from R.C. Booth Enterprises, the primary publisher of plat maps for Hall County, to make older play maps available here for public reference. R.C. Booth Enterprises began publishing plat maps in 1937, while we do not have a complete collection of all years published we have included all years currently in our collection.

We have also included a plat map of Hall County from Farm Plat Book Publishing Company, although without a stated published year it is assumed from an article in the booklet that it was published around 1953. The earliest plat map we have scanned is from W.W. Hixson & Company published around 1920 without a stated year.
