Mission Statement:

The mission of the Hall County Department of Corrections shall be to provide a safe and
secure environment for the incarceration of individuals, for staff, service providers and
the general public.

We will strive to facilitate open communications and cooperation between all agencies
within the local, state and federal criminal justice system.

 It will be our goal to identify, provide and accommodate for the treatment and needs of
individuals incarcerated within the facility and to prepare for reintegration into the
community.

 We will maintain a high degree of professionalism for staff through training, teamwork
and opportunities for self-improvement.
