COURTHOUSE TREES TRANSPLANTED

In preparation for the demolition of the DHHS Building, the Hall County Building & Grounds Department moved two oak trees from
behind the Courthouse to the Hall County Park. While not always possible due to tree size or proximity to buildings, we were fortunate
to be able to transplant these two trees.
Transplanting trees is a smart and sustainable way to save costs while helping the environment. By relocating mature trees instead
of cutting them down, Hall County can reduce the need for new planting and the energy costs associated with growing from scratch.
This not only preserves valuable green spaces but also contributes to cleaner air, improved biodiversity, and a healthier ecosystem.
It's a win-win for both our budgets and the planet!
